Day Seven: Time or Money?

There is an old saying that time is money. But is the inverse true? Can money erase the loss of moments missed, moments that won't pass this way again? Of course not.

But you have to eat, right?

There are bills to pay each month and a myriad of surprises that hit when you are least expecting them. An income of some sort is a must. The pursuit of that income takes time. But do you have to take time away from your family in order to make ends meet? Are you gaining more than you are losing when you do?

What do you do to protect the time meant to be shared with your loved ones? Do you fiercely guard it, or does the lure of another dollar, another car, another "bling" call you louder?

7. I am thankful for the time that I had with my grandparents and parents, have had with my husband, and have with my children.
