Day Four: Children

Day Four

My children amaze me, from a toddler in a sailor suit turned Navy man, to a once-three year old showing us old dogs new tricks in WordPerfect and now 16 and designing video games, to the 15 year old painting and getting rave reviews at her first art show, to the 20 year old entering the talent show, nervous, but singing her heart out in front of all of those people. My children are stronger than the stock from whence they came. They have self-confidence. In spite of their mother and her own lack of self-confidence, they know they can and they do.

4. I am thankful for my children. They are an inspiration to me and the reason that I keep hanging on. I am very proud of them.
